2/D - 3/D ART 10/18-10/22

2D - learn to calculate and cut matte board. sketchbook assignment: inside vs. outside due wed.

3D - continue working in clay. Participate in clay recycling. sketchbook assignment: 4 cookie stamp designs, due thurs.

Wearable Art 10/18-10/22

Wearable students have completed the metal pendant project. This week begins an investigation into fiber and weaving assignments. Students begin planning for a "trade party" which will occur on the 2nd of Nov. topic is "around the wrist" Altered book planning page for the trade party design will be due on Thurs. of this week.

ART 1 10/18-22

We will continue the study into perspective drawing, relating to familiar hallways and buildings.
No sketchbook this week.

2/D - 3/D ART 10/11-10/15

2D
students will finish drawings by the end of the week, and learn to matte work.

3D
those students on the potters wheel will have a chance to rotate out on monday. We will spend a few days recycling clay that has been used in the last 2 weeks. Handbuilders will finish up projects and have a chance to rotate in using the potters wheels.

Wearable Art 10/11 - 10/15

Finish metal project this week. Design display for pieces.

ART 1 10/11 - 10/15

Watch movie The Agony and the Ecstasy Monday, Tuesday review and quiz later in the week. Continue on with Perspective drawing. No sketchbook this week.

2/D, 3/D Art 10/3- 10/8

2/d - continues to work on still life drawing, adding full value due next monday.
3/d - working in clay - potters' wheel rotation will happen next monday.

Wearable Art 10/3- 10/8

Art critique is due on Wed. Last day to work on metal piece will be friday.

Art I 10/3-10/8

Students will complete one point perspective names in their sketchbooks on their own time. Monday demonstration on two point perspective, and we will begin 2-pt drawings in sketchbooks. These 2 pages will be graded for completion on Thurs. Fri we will watch first half of Michelangelo video. Quiz this week.
