2/D - 3/D ART 8/30-9/3

Working on designs and beginning work on BIRD sculpture project. Students need to bring in LEGS from home, and create a base for concrete mold this week. Bodies will be created out of clay, and we will begin this process on Tuesday. Students will turn in designs to be graded on Tuesday.

Wearable Art 8/30 - 9/3

Guest speaker on Monday.
tuesday - friday, we will work on Personality Head Piece assignment.
Sketchbook due on Wed.

Art I 8/30 - 9/3

Monday - guest speaker from Art Institutes.
Tuesday - Last day to work on Element of art notecards, they will be turned in on Wed.
Wednesday - Last day to turn in Portfolio for points!!!!!!
Thursday - sketchbook due - drawing demonstrating 3 techniques for showing space and depth.
Friday - Work on composition and contour line drawings.

2/D - 3/D ART 8/23- 8/27

Students will continue working on a public display.

Wearable Art 8/23-8/27

Students will start brainstorming and sharing ideas for class fundraisers.
We will begin basic techniques and skills this week.

ART I 8/23-8/27

Sketchbooks are due on Thursday.
Students should be gathering supplies for and creating portfolios, due date is Sept. 1st.
In class this week we will be taking notes over the elements of design.

2-D/3-D ART

Go over syllabus. Design public display, and begin working on project.

Wearable Art 8/18- 8/20

Go over course syllabus. Discuss the meaning of Wearable Art. Brainstorm fundraising ideas.

ART I 8/18-8/20

Explain Syllabus, go over classroom rules and expectations. Discuss the definition of ART. Begin introduction of principles and elements of art.
